Eco friendly Hotel Dália is the first green hotel in eastern Slovakia and Kosice, combining high quality services with a resource-saving philosophy that starts with low-energy usage and carries through to locally sourced food. The hotel is located in a quiet street of the city center offering 37 rooms, 4 conference rooms for 120 guests, gourmet restaurant, stylish café, wellness center and convenient parking. Hotel has implemented the environmental action plan, motivating its employees and guests to become more involved in protecting environment. Ecological activities are focusing on accommodation and also event services, where the Green Meetings program was introduced to reduce the impact on the environment by using energy saving equipment, recycled paper and seasonal local ingredients for catering. To motivate green travelling hotel offers bike friendly services and discounts. The hotel offers organic bathroom cosmetics, it has implemented successful water saving solutions, waste management program and installed solar panels. Eco friendly Hotel Dália is certified by the European Union Ecolabel program.
