EcoBEAM "Ecological Buildings Energy and Architectural Lighting Consultancy Services" has been established to provide architectural consultancy and research services in the areas of building physics for the design and implementation stages of sustainable, healthy, comfortable and energy efficient built environments. In this context, EcoBEAM conducts interdisciplinary studies and activities with the aim of achieving optimum performance criteria in buildings, ensuring sustainability and physical comfort conditions, , minimizing building energy consumption and energy-related costs and establishing environmentally friendly approaches for obtaining ecological buildings and built environments.Efficient use of energy resources in building sector has become a necessity due to the growing energy needs and encountered environmental and economic challenges. On the other hand, providing physical comfort conditions in buildings and obtaining climate responsive, performance and cost oriented, healthy and functional built environments is of utmost importance. In this respect, EcoBEAM aims to produce energy efficient design solutions and alternatives, develop optimum architectural lighting design strategies considering national / international standards and regulations, green building certification programs and computer-aided energy simulation and modeling programs based on scientifically proven calculation methodologies.
