The ECOLOGY RETREAT CENTRE offers Meeting Space, Accommodations, and Meals for Group Retreats & Conferences. It offers a tranquil rustic environment, nature, and a space in one of the most beautiful areas in Ontario (Canada): the Hockley Valley. The Centre is nestled just outside of the town of Orangeville, within the magical Hills of the Niagara Escarpment, between the Bruce Trail and the beautiful Nottawasaga River.Only 45 minutes North of the Toronto Pearson International Airport by car, the Retreat Centre is surrounded by 200 acres of natural forest, with hills and valleys, open meadows and spring fed streams. Within a lush and rich forest an endless network of trails surround a lazy pond, and is home to the many bird species which abound. This is truly an unspoiled area of natural beauty in which to rediscover our sacred relationship with the Earth.The Ecology Retreat Centre makes its facilities and uniquely beautiful surroundings available to groups and organizations. In our natural setting groups may run their own programs, workshops, conferences and retreats. Our facility is well suited for many sorts of programs and our versatility is well known. Some of the programs we have hosted include yoga, therapy meditation, strategic planning events, bodywork, school programs, music and art camps, social justice, ecology & environment retreats and many other events.
