The Economic Literacy Coalition (ELC) is a New York based community not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization with a primary mission to raise general awareness regarding health, financial, educational matters and community redemption within the cultural normative of the Africa, Caribbean and Latino communities in the tri-state metropolis of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. The organization purposes to work with the corporate, church, civic, entertainment and academic communities in a collective effort to bring information and resources to the consumer population with a guided mandate to bring this under-served community into the economic and educational health mainstream.
