The Economic & Trade Office of Spain in Washington, DC, as part of the Embassy of Spain in the US, supports and promotes Spanish companies entering the market, as well as American companies interested in investing in Spain. Likewise, it is responsible for the economic and trade relationships between Spain and the US' Mid-Adlantic region. The Office facilitates market intelligence on the space & defense, energy and transportation sectors; the US macroeconomic and fiscal environment; financial regulations; trade barriers and commercial disputes. The Office is a branch of the government agency ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones, which provides information, assistance and promotion to Spanish companies that want to develop in international markets and attract foreign investment.
