Yes, you read that right. Now you can play golf at Eco Park, Kolkata!Ecopark Golf Arena (EPGA) is Spread over 20 acres of land within Ecopark (Newtown, Kolkata). EPGA was envisioned as a Public Private Partnership project with a mission to provide "Golf access for all". This is the 1st ever Public Golf Club that has been set up in Eastern India. You will fall in love with this place right from your drive (Eiffel Tower Gate) into the Golf Club Premises (Enter from Gate No.6, Ecopark). Almost more than 50% space at EPGA is dedicated for the Practice Range, the Beginners Chipping / Putting Area & the Main clubhouse with sheer focus on Beginners & Corporate executives with their families in the neighbour-hood, to get introduced to the "Wonderful Game of Golf" for the 1st time in their life.The Practice range consists of 12 Nos. of Covered Bays (Flood Lit also), 10 Nos. of Natural Turf with a 400+ yard distance making it the longest driving range in Kolkata currently. Learning tools such as Swing Guide, Learners Mat, retrench-able kids clubs, hollow/ softballs etc. are used under the watchful eyes of 05 nos. of Certified trainers & Professional Golfers. At the range, Once a beginner starts making contact with the ball correctly plus getting his yardages right, he/she has graduated onto use the 9 Hole Course for further 'Beginners Course Play' Sessions. EPGA is currently the only 9 Hole Golf course in East Kolkata that has been professionally designed by Golf Design India with a distance of 1500 yards+. ‘EPGA Golfers Cafe' has a capacity of 40-50 pax. Specializing in All day breakfast / Continental & Chinese cuisines along with a range of unique & speciality tea beverages. Apart from the Cafe, the Main clubhouse also has a locker room with a Gentleman's & Ladies changing room. Lastly, EPGA is the Winner of Golf Industry Association's (GIA), Best Regional Initiative of India in 2018 & also Winner of the Best 9 Hole Course by GIA & IGU for 2019.
