Kenya enjoys some of the longest and best sun-days over any given year being at the Equator meaning solar-power-heating projects would be among best investment initiatives for corporates and individuals. Moreover, the Government through actions of policy and programs has of recent waived value added taxes on solar products to ease investment in solar energy and to ease dependence on unsustainable and costly hydro-geothermal power supply. It is expected that the Government will create policies and programs to achieve a national objective of attaining 32% reduction in emission of greenhouse gases.
