The Architect Elena Canaparo graduated in 1995 to the Polytechnic of Turin with a thesis on "The Conservation of Contemporary Art" the light design and the design of museums.After an apprenticeship in various architectural offices in Turin, in 1998 she was taken in one of the emerging companies in the light in the European world ILTI Luce Srl (now also brand Philips); so she takes part to a great projects of light design especially with technology of fiber optic and LED working in: Turin, Portofino, Bari, Paris, Venice, Amman, Sorrento, Perugia, St. Andao Do Joae, Capri.In the 2000 she opened his own studio in Turin specializing in architecture and construction management of exhibition design, light design dealing with jobs that lead to work in Belgium, Milan, Hanover, Monaco, Genoa, Amsterdam, Brescia, Torino, Frankfurt , Paris, Cannes, Milan, Verona, Bologna, Rimini, Rome, Beijing, Dubai.At the same time she began teaching at the Polytechnic of Turin as a lecturer and coordinator of the course of the lighting design, School of Architecture .In the 2001 she attended the specialized course as a security manager in the planning to extend her knowledge on the world of architecture and exhibition design.On this topic it was organized a workshop during the Forum on Security in May 2013, and in 2015 with the Professional Association of Architects of the Province of Turin.In the 2011 she was appointed the Italian Army belonging to selected reserve and, in March 2013, she attended the course CIMIC (Grade OF3 NATO) to participate in the reconstruction of the infrastructure needed in the world.Currently she is in charge of coordination of five projects of hospitals in Oman, and she is a consultant for a new start-up in Turin in the sector of lighting design.
