The Ecuadorian Network of Regional Science (RECIR) was created during the 13th Summer Institute of PRSCO held in the city of Loja between July 23 and 25, 2014. It is formed by researchers from universities, research centers and NGOs. The Annual Meeting of Regional Science (ENACIR) is organized as a space for multidisciplinary and participatory discussion on the problems and challenges of Regional Development in the country
