It develops legislative studies, related to the mutual impact of land management on energy, environment, economic dynamics and territorial management. Ecuba operates through its office in Bologna.Ecuba associates have a long-term experience in energy projects, mainly gained as consultants for public organisations of the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy, for the Italian utility ENEL, in European Commission projects.Ecuba has ever since its constitution in1997 is contributing to improve the level of awareness regarding Energy Efficiency at European level as a partner in projects that concentrate on energy saving behaviour in fuel poor households, involving public bodies, social housing organisations and tenants.Ecuba has also contributed in implementing Energy Efficiency at European level collaborating, as a partner or as a subcontractor, to the assessment and communication of the building's directive, as well as setting up an Energy Efficiency Network (EEN) for Municipalities in the Emilia Romagna Region.During the last few years Ecuba has been charged to draw up Municipal Energy Plans for several Municipalities, big and small, integrating Energy and Environmental Planning. At date, Ecuba is participating in European Projects that aim at Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving in the domestic sector as well as the reduction of fuel poverty.
