Pons and Associates, Inc. is a minority-owned business (UCP# 14462, Septa # 2210-1214-6) located in Northeastern Pennsylvania which specializes in structural engineering services, consultation for commercial, industrial, institutional and high-rise buildings, special projects, foundations, modular structures, site improvements and modernization and alteration projects for residential clients. E. D. Pons and Associates, Inc. was incorporated in 1978 and has operated at its present location at 70 S. Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA since 2001.Our firm is within easy driving distance of both the New York and Philadelphia metropolitan areas, allowing us to offer our experience, proficiency and ingenuity to a broad range of clientele. Our average yearly projects fall within the range of 40% institutional, 35% commercial and 25% special structure and residential clients.E.D. Pons and Associates, Inc. has expertise in the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates and engineering studies and analysis. Our design capabilities are enhanced by our proficiency in REVIT Structure to design three-dimensional models, which are then used for structural analysis and the preparation of construction documents.We are registered to perform engineering services in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Florida, Connecticut, Maryland, and West Virginia. In addition, Mr. Emmanuel D. Pons, P.E. has completed certification for the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES), which entitles him to be certified as a licensed professional engineer in any state in the U.S. Eighty percent of our staff are registered professional engineers. We guarantee the direct personal involvement of the principal in all phases of projects, including site visits and consultations.
