Fiscal cash register business has started in Profilo (which was one of a bigest household manufacturer companies in Turkey) in accordance with the related laws and legislations regarding fiscal cash register devices which have been obligated to use in Turkey in 1985.Farimex S.A, which is established in 1976 in Switzerland as a sister company of Profilo, started to provide technical support to Profilo and launch fiscal cash registers for different countries with OEM concept or with its own brands Farex and i-Ergos.In 2005, with the publication of related law, Profilo started to produce fiscal pump cash registers exclusively to petrol distribution companies. With the help of widespread sales and service network, more than 50% of petrol stations in Turkey are using Profilo branded pump cash registers "Nebula".In 2007, a new company; E-Data Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S. - as a subsidiary company of Profilo Group - has been established and all the fiscal cash register business has been transferred from Profilo to E-Data.Hundreds of companies in Turkey, which issues fiscal receipts, are using fiscal cash register brands Profilo, Olivetti, and Telestar which all are belongs to E-Data. E-Data has the right to use the brand name "Olivetti" in fiscal devices since 1985 in Turkey and since 2005 in Greece.
