All of the pieces are made with natural leather, used for its particularly smooth, supple, yet durable qualities. Pieced together in the Florence workshop the leather is also sourced from the finest tanneries in Italy, a number of which also provide their material to world leading fashion houses.ABOUTCo-founders Emily & Nima both design & curate the brand. With Nima coming from a family background of 70 years in garments, Eddie Handmade was initially launched in 2013 after years of hand crafting items for personaluse. Following 9 years of Art Direction in Fashion and publishing, Emily's background extends from Art directing high-end photo shoots to designing leading fashion industry magazines such as Harers Bazaar, Cosmopolitan & Grazia.STUDIO & WORKSHOPThe EDDIE studio in England provides a base to design unique and premium leather accessories. LEATHERWe pride our selves on the leather we use as each piece is sourced from some of the highest quality leather tanneries & factories in Italy.All material we use from cowhide, calf, fish, Ostrich & Buffalo leather are produced from certified tanning factories & are all CITES certified. BESPOKEIn addition to the ready-to-buy collection, those looking for the ultimate in personalisation can opt for the bespoke service. Minor customization (adding or removing pockets, straps, handles & allowing the customer to pick a leather & hardware of their choice) is available.We can also advise on an engraving service of initials to exclusively personalise accessories.
