Robert Parsonson established EDEX Services in 2003 with 15 clients in English language, Vocational Education and Higher Education and other services over the years. He is active in the promotion of Australian education export through working with education providers, local and offshore education agents, the Australian Council of Private Education and Training (ACPET) and the establishment of an education agent's association in Australia. * Education providers benefit by shared costs of marketing for overseas students in Australia and offshore * Edex does not replace in-house marketing but rather supports it * Edex is not an education agent but works closely with a worldwide network of education agents to bring students to Australia. EDEX has expertise in markets in Indonesia, Thailand, China (including Taiwan and Hong Kong), Korea, Japan, Russia (especially Far East Russia) and Central Europe.
