Edge of Seven supports sustainable building initiatives that ignite access to education, health, and economic opportunities for girls, women, and rural communities across the globe. We also engage passionate individuals in our work on the ground through our international Global Citizens Program. Our projects are initiated at the community level and are carried out in collaboration with local NGOs that have consistently made strides to elevate the status of females in their countries. To date, most of our work has taken place in rural Nepal, where in the past four years we have completed six school buildings, two large-scale community water supplies, and two hostels for girls from remote villages in the Everest Region who are the first in their families to attend college in the district capital. In 2014, we expanded programming into Kenya, where we completed two school water supplies. In 2015, we have plans to take our work even further into Nicaragua.
