EDGE isn't just a programme, it's a space. Being on the edge, living on edge, having an edge, lever-edge, advant-edge: these are states that happen in a certain space.The edge, or the margin, of society, exists in every society. There are always people who are more integrated, more mainstream, and thereby often less reflective about the norms of the society; but those who live on the margins often have developed skills such as grit, resilience and a strong determination to succeed.The EDGE space helps people to direct these capabilities towards entrepreneurial activity, by providing them with learning opportunities in multiple areas. In addition to developing cultural, behavioural and emotional intelligence, participants develop French networks, learn key business skills, and figure out the right structure and administrative classification for them. Everything at the EDGE is personalised to the participants' situation, and is offered in multiple formats including online learning and in-person workshops and events.
