Edgeryders is a boutique consulting company. We focus on social innovation, smart communities, resilient societies and economies. What makes us unique is that we don't employ generalist consultants: we deploy ad-hoc networks of citizen experts around our client's needs. We can do this because we are plugged into a global community of hackers, activists, designers and assorted trailblazers – in fact we ourselves are first and foremost a community, and the company grew out of it. You can think of us as a big red "bring on the hackers" button. when you are dealing with wicked problems, entrenched stakeholders, cross-vetos and things look grim; or simply when you want some fresh thinking around what you do, you push the button. We will come in and help you to summon and deploy an ad-hoc network of hackers, citizen experts and radical thinkers around your problem.
