Target Investment Criteria:- Size: Target EBITDA of $3-10+ million requiring equity investments of $5-40 million- Industry Sectors: All sectors, other than real estate development, early stage technology and natural resources exploration and production- Structure: Prefer majority ownership/control position or structured minority investments- Location: Canadian domiciled businesses with domestic and/or international operations----------EdgeStone Advantage- Target sectors where we have proprietary knowledge, experience and insight- Identify opportunities with challenging operating issues and/or opportunities (we see opportunities where others see problems)----------Quality of Management- Partner with existing or identifiable management team capable of improving business operations and executing profitable growth initiatives----------Superior Deal Structure- Ensure alignment of interests of all relevant stakeholders by ensuring proper motivations and incentives are in place- Use of investment structures to mitigate risk where possible----------Defined Exit Alternatives- Target holding period 5 – 7 years- Identify, prepare for and pursue multiple exit strategies in order to maximize profits to equity stakeholders, including management teams
