Overview:Economic Development Initiatives Associates has been established in 2011 and registered as a Consultancy Firm.It was started to respond to the increasing demand of Social-Economic and Development services in Tanzania. We work with both the Government and the Private sector to help accomplish various goals.Our Vision:Our vision is to become a leading centre for Social-Economic Project Management excellence. Our Mission:EDIA has been established to provide technical solutions on a multi-disciplined Project Management Scene. We are geared to providing best value, low cost and timely solutions for Social-Economic Programs. Capabilities:Our intersecting competencies have been divided in two Departments: Programs Department and Monitoring & Evaluation Department, within these two departments there is a major unit of Consultancy.This unit performs Project Designs & Implementation, Monitoring & Evaluations, Environmental Impact Assessments, Information technology and Trainings.We develop and deliver consulting services for donor agencies, Regional and Local Government, Institutions and small and medium-sized enterprises. We provide these services through sub-contracts, and long-term program management.EDIA is one Organisation which you can bet on performance when it comes to assignments which requires keen attention to details, maximum use of intellectual faculties, creativity and going extra miles. Our team has been carefully selected with wide knowledge and experience of the social–economic scene in Tanzania and beyond.EDIA Monitoring and Evaluation Consultants have a wide experience in the development of both theory and practice in monitoring and evaluation methodology. We provide a full set of monitoring and evaluation services. We assist organisations to design, manage and review monitoring plans for programmes, projects and policy.
