The Forum takes the form of a two-day conference where students, academics and professionals with an interest in Latin America come together, network and participate in presentations, panel sessions and Q&A's.Under aegis of the University of Edinburgh the principal aim of the forum is to strengthen the ties between Latin America and Europe. For this purpose, every edition has welcomed an prestigious line-up of international participants. Previous speakers included high-profile politicians, world-class academics, as well as influential representatives from renowned organisations such as the World Economic Forum, the World Bank, and the United Nations. Having benefited participants with stimulating discussions and long-lasting networks for six consecutive years, we are guided by two main objectives:- Create a platform where you can explore and debate sustainable approaches to move Latin America forward.- Empower you to establish connections with students, professionals and academics in order to contribute to Latin America's sustainable development through research, entrepreneurship, internships or volunteering.
