A 21ST CENTURY MUSIC PUBLISHING HOUSE Edition·S publishes art music for the classical and experimental music scene. We represent our composers through the publication of scores, parts, electronic media, graphic formats and interdisciplinary expression; as well as management and the personal appearance of living artists. We are driven by a love for art music, as are our artists and partners. CATALOGUE Originally founded in 1871, our catalogue comprises more than 2,400 works composed between the mid 19th century and up to present time. Great 20th century classics like Carl Nielsen and Rued Langgaard inhabit a prominent place, as do an increasingly large number of living Danish composers. NEW TALENTS We believe in bringing forward new emerging talents. We therefore work with composers from an early age, as well as after they have become established artists on the art music scene. Simon Steen-Andersen is already a major star on the international scene and talents such as Christian Winther Christensen, Rune Glerup, Simon Christensen, Jexper Holmen and Nicolai Worsaae are in the midst of breaking through. CROSSING BORDERS While a lot of composers work in traditional settings with solo, chamber, orchestral and dramatic musical forms, a growing number also create works that ‘cross borders' and take you beyond the printed score. These include sound installations, electronic listening music, interactive performance, modern dance, experimental game soundtracks and more.
