Aufklärung Gegen Tabak Krems was founded in 2019 by a small group of motivated medical students at Karl Landsteiner University with a common goal of preventing and reducing the use of tobacco. The goal is to adapt and follow the framework of the national AGT committee, and apply it on a local level. AGT Krems will be visiting schools and giving presentations outlining the basic knowledge and risks associated with tobacco use. In addition to this, AGT Krems will be launching a public education campaign on campus to educate, support and provide resources to students and faculty surrounding tobacco addition.
