Many schools in developing countries work tirelessly to educate the upcoming generation of their community, but struggle due to minimal funding, few resources and little or no training. Education United seeks to tackle the last of these issues. We are looking for UK trained teachers to take on in-country placements and lead teacher training in developing countries. The UN's educational sustainable development goals stress, ‘high quality and equitable quality education'. We believe one of the key ways to achieve this is by empowering educators in disadvantaged areas with the skills and knowledge to create sustainable and continuously improving education systems which benefit many generations of school children. This is not about teaching kids abroad, this is about creating sustained educational impact by targeting the improvement of teaching systems.
