Edwina Mountbatten House was founded in memory of Edwina Mountbatten, 1st Countess Mountbatten of Burma and was established by the generosity of the Mountbatten family, the people of Hampshire, Hampshire County Council and many other supporters, to commemorate her life of dedication to the service of others.Management of the home is actively overseen by the Board of Trustees. We are a registered charity number 1155615. The Chairman of the Trust is registered as provider of the care home and day to day management is delegated to our Registered Manager, Heidi, supported by our team of professional carers.With just 17 care rooms we can provide a very personal service supported by about 25 full and part time staff. We pride ourselves on our low staff turnover.
