E.E. Mixon Second Dragoons Foundation Details

The E.E. Mixon Second Dragoons Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 dedicated to supporting our servicemen and their families. The Foundation focuses on supporting members of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment and their families with a secondary focus on supporting other cavalry regiments or those who have supported the regiments in current conflicts. The Foundation has paid for family flights to memorial services for servicemembers, assisted with the funding for the SFC Brian Freeman scholarship, provided financial assistance to Iraqi families who risked their lives to assist U.S. forces and have since come to the U.S., and awarded partial scholarships over the last 3 years to college-bound cavalry members, alumni or their families.
