Government Administration - Cairo, Cairo Governorate, Egypt
Egyptian Engineering Day (EED) founded in 2002, annually aims to provide graduating students with an exclusive chance to market their projects, and explore the latest top-notch technologies that fit the current market needs.Hosting more than 2,600 projects of more than 12,700 exhibitors from 43 universities, and entertaining more than 81,800 visitors, over the past 16 years. EED has helped unleash the hidden potentials of Egypt's youth. Bridging the gap between industry and academia was the sole purpose of EED's first episode in 2002, entitled ‘Industry – University Link'. Having met that goal, our next step was to encourage students to innovate and present their ideas freely, that was in 2004's episode, ‘Bringing Together … Engineers with Ideas'.‘Choices…Unlimited!' was the slogan of the 7th episode of EED, introducing the attendees to different paths and fields of technology from which they can benefit. In 2012, EED took a more ‘nationalistic' approach, focused on the future of industry and technology in Egypt, "Egypt on the Runway". Following the movement of the Sustainable Development agenda of the UN, EED 2016 "Innovative Minds…Sustainable Development" was dedicated to discuss topics related to this concept. In 2017, our attendees were encouraged to see the wider image and consider all variables in the unforgettable episode "Widen the Horizon".
