EGES A.Ş. has firmly consolidated its position as one of the leading medium frequency (MF) induction furnace manufacturers in the world. EGES started off as power electronics devices producer including industrial rectifiers, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and inverters. In 1981 the company began to produce induction furnaces, first one was 75 kg furnace with 50 kW converters. Today, the scope of the company's manufacturing capability has increased to 20 MW converters and furnace capacity of 50 tons, offering attractive benefits to the customer, mini and medium capacity steel plants and also base of medium to large sized foundries, which have been looking for high technology at affordable prices.
