Eigen Tech is a startup company registered as an Incubatee under the Agri-Business Incubation (ABI) Center at ICAR-Central Institute of Fisheries Technology (ICAR-CIFT), Kochi. Founded by 4 young engineering students, Eigen Tech started its operation during May 2018, with the aim of eliminating the practice of food adulteration around the world. The focus is given on developing user-friendly and portable sensor devices to detect the toxic substances present in various food items as well as to assess their freshness levels.
