Ekmen Kauçuk Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi was founded by Nedim Ekmen to produce filler rubber for underground and antigrone cables with single production line in Sanayi district of Istanbul in 1974. By TSE restriction of rubber and encouragement of plastic usage in cable production between 1977-1983 years, company changed its title to "Ekmen Plastik Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi" and shifted to PVC granule production.Untill 1983, production continued in Sütlüce and expanded production range to soft PVC granule for window and aluminum frame gaskets, shoe soles, hose manufacturing etc... In 1989 we moved to Güzelyalı district and installed second production line. By providing special products and solutions according to market and customer demands and with established quality, Ekmen Plastik has increased production capacity to 500 tons per month. Due to lack of production space, in 2008, moved to current factory with 1000 m2 closed, 2500 m2 open area in Istanbul Deri Organize Sanayi Bölgesi - industry zone and installed third production line. In 2010 production continued not only with industrial grade PVC granule, but also with Medical grade PVC compounds. Today Ekmen Plastik is manufacturing both rigid and soft pvc compounds with 5 extrusion lines, 1 Research and Development line and 1400 tons per month capacity.
