Farming - Delhi, Delhi, India
India's first Certified B Corp, eKutir has led the way in developing data-driven, networked technologies to solve complex societal challenges. They are known for co-designing solutions with isolated and marginalised communities. Their approach has made them effective in addressing intractable issues that other technological solutions before them had been unable to resolve. Our solution restructures agri advisory into time-bound, easily digestible steps/recommendations delivered at the appropriate time of the cropping season. This pathway results in individually tailored, immediately actionable advice to farmers based on a combination of their progress in the growth cycle and real-time weather data. It automates the delivery of general business acumen to farmers and create several delivery routes that cater to both literate and illiterate, smartphone-enabled and smartphone-less farmers. The platform also extends knowledge enhancement content via algorithmic customisation, that tailor's advice to the needs of individual farmers, based on landholding size, geographic location, soil quality, crops grown, and agricultural inputs used in the past and used at present in the surrounding area, the range of sustainable inputs available in the area, region-specific, proven sustainable best practices, and regional and local weather patterns. Soil-to-Shelf Platform - This service provides comprehensive, completely customized support for each farm throughout the growth cycle by combining data on individual farms with agronomic data on sustainable practices, local availability of seeds and sustainable inputs, weather patterns, and soil data. Last-mile Delivery - The app is used by farmers with a smartphone and by farmer influencers [titled Micro Entrepreneurs (ME)] for farmers without a smartphone. The ME serve as the channel partner for aggregated farmers to receive advisory, pick-up inputs and sell their produce. Ecosystem Integration - Marketplace for Input/Output
