Food Processing - Chicago, IL, US
We have created the El Parche Coffee company utilizing our family's decades of passion, skill and expertise in the cultivation and roasting of mountain-grown Colombian coffee. We are a mixed American and Colombian family living and operating El Parche between the United States and our second home in the mountains of Colombia. We deliver exclusive access to our Colombian farms, our Pure Canopy and Geek Grind coffee brands, and quality that only a direct origin relationship can deliver. There are no middlemen when working with El Parche.Different can be better: We do not "source" our coffee as most might- rather we actually grow it. We harvest by hand, only the ripe coffee fruit, from our own farms and the nearby farms of our friends and neighbors thousands of feet into the Colombian mountains. We slowly dry the coffee beans in the warm sun and cool breezes mountainside. Hours after drying we roast the coffee in small batches immediately packaging the freshly roasted beans in special protective packaging before shipping directly to our customers. We have a dedicated women-in-coffee program that supports all levels of women workers, women farm ownership and women production management at origin in Colombia. More than 300 women, and their families, are supported by this program. We call this "Certified Origin Production" and we are one of the few in specialty coffee to pursue this at scale. You will taste the difference in quality and freshness. Also, you will be making a tremendous change at origin by directly supporting not just the origin farmers but also many others at the source who roast, packages and ship the world's finest Colombian coffee that we know how to make. We do not just "give-back" to origin, we have effectively moved the entire value-chain towards origin. When you work with El Parche Coffee - you work with family.See our brands:www.GeekGrindCoffee.comwww.PureCanopy.comwww.ElParcheCoffee.comEmail Ask@ElParcheCoffee.com
