Based in south-east London, El Vermut offers Spanish wines, beer, cocktails and, of course, vermouth! We were the first bar in London to specialise in Spanish vermouth, although varieties from around the world can be found here too. Since March 2020, El Vermut has been operating as a Spanish deli and bottle shop. El Vermut is family owned and is currently managed by owner Greta Inglis, and James Sherwin who both returned to the area from Spain in July 2018. Inspired by the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of vermuterias in Spain, El Vermut wanted to bring the variety of Spanish vermouth to London.We've carefully chosen our selection of vermouth, the majority of which we import specially on a regular basis from Catalonia. We are very excited to be the first in London to offer vermut Montseta, produced by Lisard Bellod and his family, as well as the fantastic range of Can Paixano Cavas of La Xampanyeria in Barcelona.
