Elder Family Meetings are led by a trained experienced elder mediator who helps the family work together to create a plan of action to resolve elder issues. Elder issues are common milestones individuals go through as they grow older. Typical issues include giving up driving, needing in-home care, moving to assisted living, making health care decisions, meeting end of life needs, or resolving issues surrounding a will. Navigating these issues can be difficult when emotions are high. Having a third party who is well versed in these issues will help set up the family for a successful plan of action. Services offered:Elder Family Meetings is beneficial for families who are ready and willing to sit down together and problem solve. The Elder Mediator creates a safe space for every voice to be heard and assists the family in writing out a concrete plan of action.Individual Planning Sessions are for individuals who want to discuss their familial concerns without yet involving the family. The Elder Mediator assists by asking questions to get the individual thinking about their next best steps.
