Founded by Laverne Wilson - Valis, Elder Friends Concierge Services was born out of a desire to provide a safe, trustworthy senior concierge service, geared towards elderly individuals looking to maintain their independence for as long as possible. Having had extensive experience with her ailing father and other family members, Laverne set out to create a professional, reliable, and efficient home care assistance firm, brimming with tailored support. From her experiences, Laverne came to believe that aging in place by living in one's own home for as long as possible is paramount to an independent, healthy lifestyle. As she juggled her own life, she needed to be there to support her parents with everyday tasks, things that were just no longer easy for them to do, but necessary to be done. Thus, Elder Friends was born. Our aim is simple; deliver the non-medical senior home care that we would want our own parents to receive, radiating with compassion, dignity, and respect. With a team of experienced aging care associates, all united by their client-centered approach, we take time to understand our clients on a personal level, learning about their preferences, and the things that make them ‘tick'. To us, our role entails far more than safeguarding. From keeping your loved one company, to swooping in with a smile when they need it most, we go the extra mile to create a supportive, stress-free zone. With the behind-the-scenes taken care of, from pharmacy pickups to home organization, we support your loved one's independence, settling for no less than excellence.While our central aim is to deliver world-class care to your elderly relatives, we also see our role as a crutch for loved ones. All employees will be vetted and background check for safety and security of our clients. They are trained in state certified cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and sexual harassment training.
