Elder Stay at Home is the exclusive worldwide licensor of the Schmieding Method™ Home Caregiver Training curriculum. In a New York Times article, AARP's Senior Vice President and Director of Public Policy, Susan Reinhard, called the Schmieding Method™ the "model" for caregiving training programs. The Schmieding Method™ is currently taught in community colleges and training centers in Arkansas, California, Hawaii, and Texas. Current curriculum offerings include training materials to train a wide variety of caregivers, including paid in-home caregivers and unpaid family caregivers.
