Elderslie Farm, which began as a blackberry farm, offers "an exceptional taste of Kansas."Fine Dining: An exceptional farm to table experience on Tuesday through Saturday evenings. The dinners showcase the best and freshest local produce and ingredients in the area, beautifully prepared and elegantly served. Service on the patio as weather permits.Elderslie Creamery handcrafts European-style cheeses with milk from Elderslie goats and Faye Farms cows, both grass-fed and pastured. Cheeses and collections are sold online for curbside pickup, delivery or shipping. During kidding season the Creamery also hosts "Meet the Kids" (interacting with and bottle-feeding the babies) and "Get Your Goat" (take a kid home for the weekend).Bramble Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch on the beautiful patio in the spring and summer. Families, couples or groups of friends can pick up a baked item or egg dish at the cafe counter, along with a beverage, and enjoy some peaceful, unhurried moments in the country on the shaded patio or under the covered area. After breakfast guests can wander the grounds of the farm or swing on the large swing set, visit the goats and stop by the Creamery for some gelato, and also pick up cheese, FroYo and accompaniments to take home for later. If they linger long enough they can have a picnic right at the Creamery or on the lawn.Blackberries: During blackberry season (July) visitors are invited to reserve a spot for You-Picking in the beautifully-maintained bramble. A short ride on the "berry ferry" (repurposed hay wagon) takes visitors past Chisholm Creek, by the alfalfa fields and next to the horses (with occasional wild turkey sightings) to the Longfield Bramble, where they are given instructions and allowed to pick at their own pace with family and friends. They can then return to the patio and enjoy breakfast, if they haven't eaten first, or stay for lunch.
