I'm a qualified designer with 8 years experience in the industry, both as a designer and behind the scenes as a production coordinator and sub-editor. As a trained designer I know how to think, my experience has taught me what to think about. The work you see in my portfolio, the buttons, text, images, layouts? I understand how they work and why they work together. I know when they're needed and when they're not. That blank bit of space you see in in my designs? That's there for a reason. Sure I could fill the void, but that would clutter things up. Good design is a lot about restraint.I'm based in Sydney, but in this digital age, can work all over the country. It took me a while to understand that this is what I wanted to do, but now I'm in the field, I love my work!
