Elect … Making Important Choices Easier. The name says it all. As school leavers, teens in their final year at school are exposed to a large number of choices. Most of these choices affect their future in forming and shaping who they become. Student life is similarly overwhelming with decisions to be made. Our articles range from beauty to banking. We have strived to offer a magazine that covers all the bases of a young adult's life. This is how we do it… We have created a platform for students to help and guide their peers, the youth of South Africa! We invite Journalism, Public Relations, Communication and Photography students to join the Elect Journalism Internship Programme which provides a real platform for students, not only to gain experience in communication: writing, deadlines and social media but also the opportunity to have their work published. Elect Online Magazine runs offsite in order to accommodate for students busy schedules; all communication within the Elect team is done electronically. Every opportunity we offer the students is to fit their current needs. We provide opportunities for students to cover: popular events in their regions, interviews and finding stories that not only benefit their growth and entertainment but the readers too. We give students the experience they need in order to acquire a lucrative position thereafter in the real world.
