Electricity4all aims to increase access to electricity in an affordable, clean and sustainable way by selling, installing, maintaining and repairing on-grid and off-grid power systems to households and small-to-medium enterprises. The company won the SEED Africa 2014 Award for setting up a business to improve access to electricity in Southern Africa. The SEED Initiative identifies and supports promising small scale social and environmental entrepreneurs around the globe, entrepreneurs who while working towards a greener economy also tackle poverty, marginalisation and social exclusion. SEED provides these entrepreneurs with know-how and networks, taking the lessons learnt at local level up to decision-makers to promote evidence-based policy making.
