At ETS, we are working to decarbonize the hottest industries and processes by replacing fossil fuels with renewable heat. Our new technology, the Joule Hive, converts unreliable solar and wind energy into on-demand heat, stored at temperatures approaching 2000 degrees Celsius. The stored heat can be delivered to industrial furnaces, boilers, or power plants that the Joule Hive is co-located with, enabling a phase-out of fossil fuels across heavy industry by 2050. ETS has been awarded ARPA-E funding and an Activate fellowship for development of this technology. For more information, visit electrifiedthermal.com.
