Electronic Media for Development (EMEDE) is a Ugandan-based Non-Governmental Organization that advocates for community and National development through Production, Broadcast and Open-Air screening of Feature Films, Short stories, Documentary Films, Video Messages, Radio & TV Programmes that address issues pertinent to development. Such issues include: Poverty, Food security, Health, Water & Sanitation, Environmental Conservation, Disaster Preparedness, Gender Justice, Human Rights, Children rights, Women Emancipation & Empowerment, Education, Culture, Peace & Reconciliation, Religion among others.EMEDE also provides free professional hands-on training to unemployed youths in Film, Radio and Television Production.
