Professional Training & Coaching - Indianapolis, Indiana, United States
The Electronic Systems Professional Alliance (ESPA) was created to establish a universal set of best practices, training, and certification for entry level Electronic Systems Technicians (ESTs). We help new ESTs develop the skillset and credentials they need in order to successfully enter the electronic systems workforce.Electronics industry leaders CEA, CEDIA & NSCA founded ESPA in 2006 in order to meet the increasing demand for properly trained ESTs. The industry felt the need for a comprehensive and consistent approach for training entry-level technicians. The founding organizations tapped into their network of experienced educators and innovators who created the ESPA curriculum and job test analysis. The curriculum covers five key domains:• Electrical Basics• Tools• Construction Methods and Materials• Wiring and Installation Practices• Standards, Codes and Safety PracticesStudents of the program must pass a proctored exam in order to achieve the ESPA Certified-EST® credential. This certification is a widely recognized industry "stamp of approval" that signifies that the technician is qualified, and able to hit the ground running from day one.
