Working as an illustrator and model, Eline's illustrations are naturally connected to fashion. But they are not your usual fashion illustrations. She's inspired by weird situations, nature, dark comedy and elegance. Hands and faces play an important role in her drawings. She often works with fineliners and pencils, which she combines with digital colors. Eline gets her inspiration from the art of Egon Schiele, Peter Blake and film director Alfred Hitchcock. She likes art that isn't too cute or pretty, because it's way more interesting to look at something that's a little off. She studied illustration at the Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam.
