Ellington's Mid Way Bar & Grill, brings a nostalgic, mid-20th-century dishes elevated with modern panache to the downtown Arts District. Located on the fourth floor of the Fairlane Hotel, Ellington's Mid Way Bar & Grill features a stunning wraparound terrace with lounge seating and fire pits as well as two private dining rooms, both with a dedicated outdoor terrace section. Concepted by Nashville-based Oliver Hospitality and designed by Reunion Goods & Services, the space is a modern interpretation of a midcentury private club, with plush banquettes, retro lighting and an aura of exclusivity. Guests can enter via a private entrance, going straight to the fourth floor for perch-like views of the action below. Décor harkens back to the 1960's and 70's, a nod to the restaurant's former life as the executive-office floor of the now-defunct Fidelity Federal Savings & Loan.
