Elliot & Eames is the culmination of my experiences with fashion from around the world and the characteristics of the people I met along the way. In Belgium, my friends tended to only buy the best and use it for a very long time – shoes, bags, and other leather goods especially. In France, people seem to have this almost-instinctive eye for fashion, so often succeeding at an effortless and unique style. In Korea and Asia in general, people put an emphasis on utility and simplicity. All of these are ideals that inspired and culminated in the creation of Elliot & Eames.
