Elo Kay is an exciting name on the Danish hip-hop scene. Elo Kays sound reflects his personality - hard, with a plethora of soul and soft tones. His rap style and lyrics differs from the norm as Elo Kay's main focus is motivating, inspiring and telling his moving stories. The Danish Music federation winning artist , Karrierekanonen finalist and African award nominated rapper Elo Kay, is a talented hip hop artist who have shared stage with some of the biggest names such as the three times Grammy award winner Nelly, Twelve24, and Danish artists such as Carpark North, Nabiha and Barbara Moleko etc. Born in Africa, Zambia in the capital city of Lusaka, Elo Kay learned to be a man from a young age. He experienced death at the age of 7 when his father died and left him and his brothers fatherless. His parents were divorced, so he never grew up with either one of his parents until the age of 12, when he moved to Denmark. The absence of love and the hardship of his childhood is portrayed in his lyrics and his songs. In 2015, Elo Kay released his debut EP "I AM ALIVE" which featured the popular single with the same title. In 2016, Elo released His most known EP "Illuminate" which had a successful release and gained radio airplay. After the release of Illuminate, Elo Kay introduced himself as a household name on the Danish hip hop scene. His most known single "All Week" was released in 2017 together with "I See the light" and "Surrender" which features Diomer a well-known rapper from USA.
