As part of the formidable FMCG giant the Emami Group Frank Ross Pharmacy is successfully operating 151 exclusive stores across the states of West Bengal Karnataka Gujarat and Bhubaneswar. Highly skilled pharmacists and store personnel are adept at operating pharmacies inside hospitals big corporate houses and premier educational institutes .Our client list includes AMRI chain of hospitals corporates such as Tata Group of Companies and educational institutes such as IIT Kharagpur amongst many others. Today Frank Ross is proudly servicing the health and pharma needs of over 90 corporate clients reputed hospitals nursing homes NGOs by ensuring that high quality healthcare products and services reach them.
| Frank Ross was established in 1906 as a Proprietorship Firm by one English man called Mr. Frank Ross. | It was converted to a Limited Company in 1919. | It had a chain of Pharmacies and was also distributing and importing medicines of multinational companies in India and abroad. | Frank Ross had its own patent proprietary medicines like Pertussian Cough MixtureTooth Ache medicines and various tailor made syrup ointments made in their pharmacies. | Later it put up a factory for making tinctures and spirituous products which were used for making mixtures prescribed by doctors. | This business was closed as doctors started relying more on patent and proprietary medicine than tinctures. | In 1982 a pharmaceutical factory was put up for making Syrups Tablet and Capsules. | With passage of time the pharmacies outside West Bengal were closed and some of the existing pharmacies in Kolkata were given out on commission basis. | In 1993 Frank Ross was taken over by Emami Group a FMCG giant.
