Embracing Age is a faith-inspired charity dedicated to improving the lives of older people. Our UK-wide program, Care Home Friends, started as a local project in Richmond, Surrey. After winning a Cinnamon Network Project Lab in 2016, Care Home Friends was set up to begin the process of growing a national network to recruit and train volunteers to offer friendship and support elderly residents in care homes.We currently have 1 live project, 6 trained and ready to launch and are keen to hear from churches who may be interested in running an information evening on how they can reach out to the elderly through local care homes.
