Emgage is a family of civic and political institutions dedicated to strengthening the engagement of Muslim Americans in the civic and political process. Our programs include voter engagement, issue advocacy and political engagement. Emgage's institutions include Emgage Foundation a 501c3, Emgage Action a 501c4 and Emgage PAC a federal political action committee. While headquartered in Washington, D.C., we also have chapters in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, Texas, and New York.Voter Engagement: Emgage Foundation is the leading Muslim American voter engagement organization, utilizing a data-driven approach to understand the community's interests and connect our constituencies with their elected representatives at the local, state, and federal level. Emgage is bridging the gap between the electorate and the policies that affect their lives by organizing grassroots efforts including civic trainings, get out the vote campaigns (GOTV), leadership development, issue advocacy and issue education forums.Issue Advocacy: Emgage Action is the first Muslim American issue advocacy institution. Issues of focus include Civil Liberties, Criminal Justice Reform, Immigration Reform, National Security and Climate Change. Emgage engages on these issues at the federal, state and local levels through organizing Hill Days, Capital Days and regularly connecting community members to lawmakers to discuss common sense solutions to some of our nation's biggest challenges. Political Activity: Emgage PAC is the first Muslim American federal political action committee.
