The Emergency Medicine at Deakin Club was formed to help medical students explore and learn about emergency medicine and critical care. The club is run by students, for students and focuses on providing hands on experiences. These experiences include the Emergency Medicine Challenge, an opportunity for students to experience clinically relevant emergency medicine and critical care simulations in a collaborative inter-year team. The club also runs clincal skills practice events, tutorials with physicians and social emergency medicine themed events. Another focus of the club is our podcast, The Amazing Case, that features clinicians and healthcare workers sharing their experiences working in emergency medicine and critical care.
